A Pacific Northwest state, Oregon is known for its geographical diversity including deserts, mountains, forests, coastline and prairies. The most frequently used highway in Oregon, by both normal traffic and auto shippers is Interstate 5 which runs from the North to the South of the state through major cities like Portland, Eugene and Albany. The major forested regions in Oregon are not around Interstate 5 so environmental concerns such as downed trees and hidden large wildlife are not typically the cause of traffic delays. As the weather is mild in this area, an open hauler is generally appropriate for most cars shipped within the state.
